Summer Stage Internship Program
CTM's Teaching Assistant Internship Program offers an immersive, challenging, and rewarding experience for qualified college students or recent graduates. CTM seeks enthusiastic, mature, and self reliant applicants who take intiative and have a passion for working with young people.
Our program provides an opportunity to apply one's academic studies to a real world experience. Interns will learn best practices from theater education professionals and gain knowledge in working with students from a wide range of ages and abilities. Additional areas of focus for this internship include educational techniques, classroom management, theater games, technical crew, conflict resolution, and professional networking opportunities.
SUMMER STAGE 2017 INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
- All programs take place at Overture Center and around downtown Madison
- All programs run during the day Monday-Friday (some Thursday and Friday evening hours are required)
- Housing and travel stipends are not provided by CTM
Application will go live in mid December 2017. A cover letter is required. A resume and letter of recommendation are optional. Interviews will begin in January 2018.
High School Students
CTM'S High School Internship Program is ideal for students entering grades 10-12 who have a passion for working with young people and experience in the arts. This program is built to be an early on-the-job experience and can count towards community service credits for your high school.
