Q. How does the season campaign work?
A. For the best discounts, purchase tickets to two or more plays before October 1, 2017. You pick your seats, but first come, first served. Order early!
• Save 35% when you buy tickets to two or more plays, any date, any title.
• Save up to 45% when you purchase at least 3 tickets to a FAMILY PACK date and additional tickets to another play. Your second play does not need to be a Family Pack date but it does need to be another title in our season (ie, Family Pack date to Seussical and any date or quantity to A Year with Frog & Toad).
Q. How do I qualify for those discounts?
A. Purchase tickets to two or more of our 5 featured plays in the 17-18 season before October 1, 2017. In order to qualify for a Family Pack, you need to select at least 3 tickets to a Family Pack date.
Q. I only want to buy tickets to one show.
A. Please reference our website page See a Show and click on the Buy One Ticket link. Your order will be processed at the discounted rate of 25% through October 1, 2017. To save further, purchase tickets in-person at the Overture Center box office. No additional fees apply when you purchase tickets in person, however phone and online orders incur additional Overture processing fees. Overture Center Box Office: 608-258-4141. Open from 11-5:30 M-F, Sat. 11-2.
Q. I need help with my preseason order. Can I call CTM for help?
A. Absolutely! We are available Monday-Friday, 9-5PM. Call 608-255-2080 x102.
Q. When will my tickets be mailed?
A. Your tickets will be mailed approximately 7 business days after we receive your order. Please refer to the e-mailed ticket order summary you received, as that will not be included in the envelope along with your tickets.
Q. Can I hold my tickets at Overture Center’s will call?
A. Yes you may. If you order tickets to a show that’s less than a week away, tickets will automatically be held at will call.
Q. How can I exchange my tickets if I can’t come to the show?
A. Ticket exchanges are done through the Overture Center box office, up to 48 hours before your originally purchased show. CTM cannot exchange your tickets. You must return the tickets in order to make the exchange. You will be responsible for any resulting upcharges to a higher priced performance. Tickets can be exchanged in person or mailed to the Overture Center. Tickets that are returned via mail will be held at the box office unless you include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your exchange. Overture Center Box office address: 201 State St, Madison, WI 53703
Q. I need to change my ticket order I just submitted! May I?
A. If the tickets have not been printed, you may possibly adjust your order. There are no guarantees, especially if seating is limited, and absolutely NO REFUNDS if the tickets have been processed and printed.
Q. Can I bring my very young child to the show?
A. All CTM shows are recommended for children ages 3 and up. We do not allow lap seats and reserve the right to ask any disruptive patron, regardless of age, to leave the theater as a courtesy to other patrons and our actors. No refunds allowed.
Q. How long are the shows and what’s the recommended age?
A. Madagascar: 70 minutes, ages 5+ Diary of a Worm, a Spider and a Fly: 70 minutes, ages 3+ A Christmas Carol: 2.25 hours + 15 min intermission, ages 7+ The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane: 90 minutes, ages 8+ Tuck Everlasting: 2 hours + 15 min intermission, ages 10+
Q. Shoot! I missed my show!
