Allen (he/him) joined CTM in 2015. Prior to CTM, he worked as a Production Manager for the University of Wisconsin Madison. Allen also worked in Vicenza, Italy where he served as the US Army Entertainment Director of the Mediterranean Region and is a proud veteran of the military. Allen continues to produce, act, direct and champion all theater. Thank you to the CTM Staff, Board, and all who support this great organization.

Brian(he/him) is honored to be serving as Artistic Director this season. His previous CTM directing credits include The Wizard of Oz, Seussical, Tuck Everlasting, Matilda, and Stellaluna. His work has also been seen at American Players Theater, Madison Opera, Skylight Music Theatre, Four Seasons Theatre, Capital City Theatre, Music Theatre of Madison, UW-Madison, and Clinton Showboat. He has performed around the country and world with the National Tours of Annie and Something Rotten! He has extensive teaching experience including CTM’s Summer Stage, Kristin Chenoweth’s Broadway Bootcamp, Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and Whoopensocker. He is a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University’s musical theatre program and University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bolz Center for Arts Administration.

Roseann Sheridan

Roseann (she/her) has been with CTM since 2007. She was Producer and Associate Artistic Director at American Players Theatre. She has directed for regional and university theatres, including UW-Madison, Texas Shakespeare Festival, Next Act Theatre (Milwaukee), Penobscot Theatre (Maine), UW-Whitewater, Edgewood College and UW-Oshkosh. She has also taught at UW-Madison, Edgewood College, Lincoln University, and UW-Fond du Lac. In 2017, Roseann was a participant at The La Mama International Directors Symposium in Spoleto, Italy. Roseann holds an MFA in Directing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sincere thanks to CTM staff, board, and many families for their commitment and dedication to this company.

Erica Berman (she/her) has been part of the CTM family and Madison community since 2013. Erica oversees all education and community engagement initiatives and serves as an Artistic Associate. Before CTM, Erica worked at the Tony Award winning McCarter Theatre and as a freelance teaching artist in the Boston area. Erica has presented on CTM’s inclusivity initiatives at Arts Education Roundtable, AATE National Conference, Inclusive Theater Conference (Northwestern University), & Bibu 2022 / ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering in Sweden. As a playwright, Erica’s plays have been produced at Four Seasons Theater, Milwaukee Chamber Theater, Kohl’s Wild Theater, The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Ensemble Stage, & CTM. Rafael (he/him) comes to CTM from Charleston Stage, where he served as the Production Manager. He was the Production Manager for Arkansas Repertory Theatre for seventeen years. Rafael was a freelance project coordinator and designer for Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren-Polo, Rosie Magazine and The Warner Brothers Studio Store. Past credits also include General Manager for Izquierdo Studio in NYC, which produces specialty costumes and props for film, television, and the Broadway stage. Rafael holds a BA in theatre from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and holds an MFA in Directing Musical Theatre from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Marc (he/him) from Marketing has carved a niche around branding strategy and voice of customer, with 25-plus years of optimizing customer engagement. Specializing in marketing, advertising, branding strategy and loyalty, Marc has worked on the client, vendor, and agency sides to design effective message and marketing strategies across all media. Since 2014, Marc has led his own brand UX/UI consultancy (uinification.com) while leading marketing at CTM. Past forays have included executive VP of Marketing positions and director-level creative positions. Marc is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lindsay Gleason (she/her) is thrilled to join CTM as Associate Education Director! Before CTM, Lindsay worked as a Lead Teaching Artist and K4-4th Grade Academy Director at First Stage in Milwaukee, her hometown! As a director, some of Lindsay’s favorite credits include Tiny Beautiful Things, Girls in the Boat, and John Proctor is the Villain. In addition to her passion for theatre, Lindsay is an avid Human Centered Designer, and currently a Design Education Fellow with Design for America. Lindsay graduated with B.A. ‘s in Theatre: Directing and Dramaturgy and Social Entrepreneurship from North Central College in 2022.

Anders (he/him) has stage managed shows for CTM since 2018 and is thrilled to be joining the CTM family full-time! His freelance stage management credits include spells at American Players Theatre, Playhouse Stage Company, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Peninsula Players, among many others throughout the Midwest and East Coast. He holds an A.B. in Theatre, Psychology, and Philosophy from Ripon College. Anders believes in the power of effective communication to bridge differences and build relationships, and his background in psychology and philosophy informs his holistic approach to managing people and processes in the theatre context.

Amy Montoya (she/her) has been with CTM since 2010 and Director of Operations since 2022. Amy runs the day to day operations of the organization, ensuring that staff have an excellent working environment and functionality to do their jobs. She is passionate about providing efficient and equitable systems for all. Prior to CTM, Amy worked in advertising, recruiting and marketing, both in Los Angeles and Santa Fe before moving her family to Madison in 2003. Unlike her teammates, Amy has no theater background but with a BFA in Graphic Design from UW Milwaukee, she could run circles around them in an art museum!

Trevin Gay (he/him) is an actor, director, teaching artist and arts administrator. Madison audiences may have recently seen him onstage in Finder & The North Star, A Christmas Carol, Freaky Friday, Stellaluna, or Matilda (Children’s Theater of Madison). He holds an MFA in Actor Created Physical Theatre from the London International School of Performing Arts. Trevin is thrilled to currently serve as the Actors Academy Director for CTM. Thank you for supporting live theater and helping to empower local youth.

Laura (she/her) is thrilled to be joining the CTM family! Laura has a very diverse background as not only a 20-year theatre vet, but a US Navy veteran as well. Even in the Navy, she found time to perform in 7 shows in Florida & Hawaii. Before CTM, Laura served as the Assistant Director at Spring Harbor Middle School for MSCR’s after school program. She worked with over 60 students in the after-school programs and assisted in the theatre productions as Assistant Director and Choreographer. Since the military, Laura has earned 3 AAs, her BA in Theatre, and her EMT license.

Marielle (she/her) is so excited to be joining the CTM team! Marielle leads CTM’s Front of House and Box Office, collaborating with different departments to implement a positive and inclusive patron experience. A Madison-based arts administrator and actor, Marielle recently graduated from Carthage College with degrees in Arts Administration and Theatre and an English minor. Marielle has both performed and worked professionally at Hope Repertory Theatre, Capital City Theatre, and the Region III Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival. Marielle believes that theatre is not just an entertainment industry but a meaningful method to educate and start important conversations that create connections between communities.

Mary (she/her) joined the CTM staff in 2009. As the Costume Rental Manager, she organizes and maintains CTM’s extensive costume collection. Mary enjoys collaborating with CTM designers, area theatre companies, high schools, and universities to help find costumes and accessories for their productions. Previously, she was the Costume Director at the Madison Repertory Theatre, designing costumes and managing the costume department for 23 years. Since 2010, she has been the Resident Costume Designer and Shop Manager at Edgewood College. Additional costume design credits include CTM, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, UW-Madison, Madison College, and Forward Theater Company.

Maggie (she/her) comes to CTM with two decades of experience in nonprofit management, development and event planning. She has worked with many Madison nonprofits including WORT-FM Community Radio, Greater Madison Jazz Consortium, Madison Children’s Museum, and Monroe Street Arts Center. In her youth, Maggie was cast in productions at Central Wisconsin Community Theater and UW-Stevens Point. Maggie studied acting at Emerson College and received a BA in Communication from UW-Stevens Point. Maggie performs as a singer and instrumentalist with several local music ensembles and teaches Music Together classes in the Madison area. She is proud to support the essential work of CTM!
