Q: How does the season campaign work?
A: For the best discounts, purchase tickets to any of CTM’s plays by November 1, 2021. Full-priced tickets resume November 2.
> Save up to 40% when you buy tickets to a Family Pack date, plus tickets to any other show in the season.
> Save 35% when you buy tickets to two plays in our 2021-22 season, any date, any title.

Q: Where will CTM shows be performed?
A: "A Christmas Carol" and "Stellaluna" at Overture Center for the Arts, 201 State St
A: "Calabasas Street" and "Freaky Friday" at MYARTS Center, 1055 E Mifflin St


Q: What are your safety protocols related to Covid-19?
A: Your safety is of utmost importance! CTM follows all CDC and Dane County protocols. When we perform at Overture Center, we follow their building rules and when we perform in the MYARTS Theater, we follow their theater rules.

Q: Do I need present proof of vaccination or negative Covid test results in order to attend CTM performances?
A: NO. As of April 1, 2022, CTM no longer requires patrons to present vaccination status or negative covid tests at our performances.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask at CTM performances?
A: No. However, we strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask at our public events. Masks will be available for your use at any performance, class, or event.
Q: My child is under 12 and is not vaccinated yet. Can they attend CTM performances?
A: YES. As of April 1, any patron who is not vaccinated may attend a CTM performance.

Q: Do the air handling systems in your theaters meet CDC guidelines?
A: Both Overture Center and MYARTS have high air exchange and filtration, much like hospital air, which include dual filtration HVAC system with improved particulate filtration, increased outside air volumes, and increased air handling during hours of operation.

Q: Are you selling your performances to full capacity?
A: Yes, we are planning to sell at full capacity. For the safety of all attending, we request all patrons to follow our safety guidelines such as mask wearing, and vaccinations or negative COVID-19 test results.


Q: What are the ticket and order fees on my purchase?
A: When you buy two or more shows during our preseason sale, there is a one-time $10 order fee and nothing more. When you buy a single show during or preseason or any time after November 1, there is an Overture per ticket fee and a $4 order fee. In-person purchases at Overture Center’s Box Office incur no fees.

Q: Can I purchase my tickets in-person?
A: Yes. Throughout the season you may purchase tickets at the Overture Center box office. Please reference their Box Office Hours for specific times. You may also place orders in-person during our preseason sale at MYARTS, located at 1055 E Mifflin. Please call 608-255-2080 x100 to arrange a time.

Q: Can I exchange my tickets if I can’t come to the show?
A: Yes, you may exchange tickets to another show in our season. Ticket exchanges are done through the Overture Center box office (not through CTM), up to 48 hours before your originally purchased show. We can answer questions regarding ticket exchanges, but will refer you to the Overture box office to make the exchange. You will be responsible for any resulting upcharges to a higher priced performance.

Q: I need help with my preseason order. Can I call CTM for help?
A: Yes! Phone support is available M-F until 9-5PM, at 608.255.2080 x100. Your call may not be answered immediately but we will do our best to return it as soon as possible.

Q: I need to change the ticket order I just submitted! May I?
A: If the tickets have not been printed, you may possibly adjust your order. There are no guarantees, especially if seating is limited, and absolutely NO REFUNDS if the tickets have been processed and printed. Please reference the Q&A above.

Q: I asked for my tickets to be mailed. When will I receive them?
A: During our preseason sale, tickets requested for mail delivery will be sent on a weekly basis. Tickets purchased throughout the season will follow Overture Center mail schedules.

Q: Can I hold my tickets at Overture Center’s will call?
A: Yes! And if you order tickets to a show that’s less than a week away, tickets will automatically be held at will call.

Q: Can I bring my very young child to the show?
A: All CTM shows are recommended for children ages 3 and up. All patrons much purchase a seat, regardless of age as we do not allow lap seats. Families should decide at what age their child is ready for a CTM show.

Q: My child has a disability or developmental difference. What should I know before I buy tickets?
A: We welcome all young people to the theater at CTM! You have two choices in terms of performances. Please attend whichever would work best for your family’s needs:
> Public Performances – we will have Sensory Kits available at all performances for those who need them
