Q: How does the season campaign work?
A: For the best discounts, purchase tickets to any of CTM’s plays by October 3, 2022. Full-priced tickets resume October 4.

Q: Where will CTM shows be performed?
A: "A Christmas Carol" and "Peter Pan" in the Capitol Theater at Overture Center for the Arts, 201 State St
A: "The Mole Hill Stories" and "Finder & The North Star" in the Starlight Theater at MYARTS Center, 1055 E Mifflin St

Q: How can I purchase CTM tickets?
A: You can purchase tickets online via ctmtheater.org, over the phone, or in person.

*Subscription orders may not be purchased in person at the Overture Center. They must be ordered online at ctmtheater.org, over the phone (608) 255-2080, or in person at CTM’s MYArts box office.

Q: What are your box office hours of operation?
A: The CTM Box Office at MYArts is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 11-2pm, and Thursdays and Fridays, 3-7pm.

Q: What are your hours for phone orders?
A: Outside of CTM’s regular box office hours you may call but it is not guaranteed someone will answer. Leave us a message!

Q: How long are your shows and what’s the recommended age?
A: The Mole Hill Stories: 60 minutes, ages 3+                                        Finder & The North Star: 75 minutes, no intermission, ages 9+
     A Christmas Carol: 2.25 hours + intermission, ages 7+                   Peter Pan: 2 hour 30 minutes + intermission, ages 5+

Q: What are the ticket fees on my purchase?
A: Subscription tickets (2+ Show Subscription), available only from August 18 - October 3, 2022, have a one-time $12 order fee and nothing more. Single show tickets purchased online or over the phone incur a 15% service fee. In person tickets purchased at MYArts have no fees when paying by cash or check; credit card purchases incur a 3.5% fee. In person tickets purchased at Overture have no fees. 

Q: Can I exchange my tickets if I can’t come to the show?
A: Yes, you may exchange tickets to another show in our season. Ticket exchanges may be done with either the Overture Center or CTM’s Box Office, up to 48 hours before your originally purchased show. Any upgrade in tickets will be the patron’s responsibility. Neither Overture nor CTM offers refunds.

Q: I just submitted my ticket order and need to make a change! Is this possible?
A: If the tickets have not been printed, you may possibly adjust your order. There are no guarantees, especially if seating is limited, and no refunds if the tickets have been processed and printed.

Q: I asked for my tickets to be mailed. When will I receive them?
A: Tickets requested for mail delivery are generally sent within 3-5 days of purchase. Orders placed within 10 days of a performance date will automatically be held at will call and not mailed.

Q: I asked for my tickets to be held at Will Call. Which box office should I go to?
A: If it is at least a week before the performance date, you may go to either box office at CTM or the Overture Center. If it’s the day of the show, you should pick them up at the venue box office where the performance will be held.

Q: Do you have e-ticket (electronic) delivery method?
A: Yes. Log into your Overture account to access them up to 3 hours before the show start time. Mobile tickets are not emailed!

Q: Can I bring my very young child to the show?
A: All CTM shows are recommended for children ages 3 and up. Families should decide at what age their child is ready for a CTM show. All patrons must purchase a seat, regardless of age as we do not allow lap seats.        

Q: My child has a disability or developmental difference. What should I know before I buy tickets?
A: We welcome all young people to the theater at CTM! You have two choices in terms of performances. Please attend whichever would work best for your family’s needs:

    • Public Performances – we have Sensory Kits available at all performances for those who need them.
    • Sensory Friendly | Relaxed performances – we provide many supports before attending a show, in the lobby, and in the theater. CLICK HERE to learn more.

HEALTH & SAFETY:

Q: What are your safety protocols related to Covid-19?
A: Your safety is of utmost importance! CTM follows all CDC and Dane County protocols. When we perform at Overture Center, we follow their building rules and when we perform in the MYARTS Theater, we follow their theater rules.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask at CTM performances?
A: No, mask-wearing is optional. However, we do reserve the right to change our policy at any time. Masks will be available for your use at any performance.

Q: Do the air handling systems in your theaters meet CDC guidelines?
A: Both Overture Center and MYARTS have high air exchange and filtration, much like hospital air, which include dual filtration HVAC system with improved particulate filtration, increased outside air volumes, and increased air handling during hours of operation.
