What are your toys really thinking when you aren’t there? Inspired by the popular Toy Story series, create characters based on classic or original toys. Students will go on imagination adventures, tell stories, and work as an ensemble through movement and music.

For the young musical theater performer in your life! Students will enjoy learning musical theater songs, performing light choreography, and building life skills through theater skills. This is a Creative Drama class, which means students will use their imaginations, explore their creativity through storytelling, and enjoy learning theater games appropriate for their age level. Creative Drama encourages collaboration and builds social skills.

Students will create their own play as an ensemble while also honing their actor’s tools (voice, body, and imagination) to help them tell their story! In this class, students will engage in storytelling, improvisation, and creative drama exploration while also working together as an ensemble.
Musical Theater!
For the young musical theater performer in your life! Students will enjoy learning musical theater songs, performing light choreography, and building life skills through theater skills. This class is for students who would like to try musical theater for the first time as well as the students with some previous musical theater experience.

In this class, students will apply acting techniques and improvisation to learn and play a Dungeons & Dragons inspired role playing game. This class is a great opportunity for students to engage in creative world-building, to dig into a specific character and to apply improvisation skills to episodic storytelling.
Comedy!
Performers will think fast, take risks and work as part of an ensemble. Using short form and long form improvisation, students will develop characters, scenes, and situations through listening and responding in the moment, remaining open to the suggestions and ideas of others, and pulling comedy from the world around them.

In this class, students will apply acting techniques and improvisation to learn and play a Dungeons & Dragons inspired role playing game. This class is a great opportunity for students to engage in creative world-building, to dig into a specific character and to apply improvisation skills to episodic storytelling.

Advanced Acting Program (October-March)
This program is specifically designed for dedicated students who are looking to hone their acting skills. With a longer session for more in depth work, students will use monologues, scenework, and/or devised theater to strengthen them as actors while building a strong ensemble.
PREREQUISITE: Participation in a two week or three week Summer Stage production or comparable performance experience.
